Hello!  Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to check out my business and get to know a little more about me!  My name is Chelsea Roes and my business is located in Upstate New York!  Way upstate!  I live in a little town call Lowville and I absolutely love it! I have been taking portraits professionally for almost 5 years.  It all started when one of my friends asked me to take Engagement photos for her and her fiance.  I had always enjoyed taking pictures, but I had never taken photos of people in a posed setting, it was just pretty landscapes and a lot of flowers!  After the Engagement session I had others come to me asking for photos.  I quickly realized that this is what I love to do.  I mostly did newborn and children’s portraits in the beginning, which eventually turned into family portraits, which then turned into Senior portraits, and finally, Weddings!  I truly feel called to be a “Family” Photographer.  Someone who is there for every step and milestone along the way!  I was recently looking over my past sessions and I realized that all of my clients are somehow connected and to me, that brings a sense of community!  I love that!

1.3.18 - never a dull moment... 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’m always a fan of fresh snow, but the barn couldn’t handle any more! Happy 1st Birthday to this little sass today! I’m not a huge fan of pets but I do love this one! You know how some parents tell us everything their child can do and loves on every birthday?! .... Mila loves when Grandma visits, ice cubes, playing in the snow, her monkey, curling up on any blanket she can find, snuggling on your lap when she first wakes up (if she’s given the chance) taking a bath, and posing for treats! She also loves playing with little kids, or anyone who will give her attention, but she’s not a huge fan of large groups of people. She can sit, lay down, wait, say please, shake, give you a high five, and she knows the difference between her toys when you ask her to go get a specific one! Her New Years resolution is to stop jumping up to greet people when they come in the door 😂😂😂 #thefirstyearofmila 👈🏼 we’re not changing our hashtag either!Happy 1st Birthday to this little sass today! When it’s been a long a day and you want to sleep extra nice 👌🏼 . . . . . . . Here is my Young Living story: I purchased a Starter Kit in September to take to school and use in the classroom. I was a bit skeptical, but a few of the moms use Essential oils on their children (with great results) and I thought diffusing some could possibly be beneficial for all of us! When I first started, Lavender, Peppermint and Lemon were some of the usuals. Since then, Stress Away has become my favorite to use at school. The days go much better when the diffuser is on! There were a few days in particular that just went extremely awful and when the days were over I realized that I had never turned on the diffuser. I was convinced! A few weeks later another friend told me about a product from Young Living called NingXia. She said that her entire family was using it and they were loving the results. I had 2 samples that came in my starter kit so the next 2 days I tried them, I didn’t notice much of a difference. I then talked to my friend and she told me to try it longer as it takes more than 2 days to see results. I ordered a bottle and I’m not even kidding, 1 week. That’s all it took for me to notice how much more energy I had! When I was at work I was focused, and I didn’t feel overwhelmed when there were many things to get done. I would come home from work and I wasn’t tired, I could mentally and physically work much later in the evenings which has been so helpful considering that I run my own business! I took a 2 day break when I went on a mini vacation and I could definitely feel what I was missing. I don’t ever want to be without my NingXia! I know what you’re thinking, “Here we go again....” ”Oh look, someone else is selling something....” “Where is the unfollow button?” “It doesn’t really work...it’s all in your head” 👈🏼 I’ve said that before! I promise that it’s helpful, and I promise not to fill your feeds with more products, but I just wanted to share what I’ve found and let you know that if you’re interested, I can hook you up too! Here’s a fun story! Every year my mom gives us a new ornament for the tree! Some years it has something to do with what happened during the year, and sometimes it’s just a cute new ornament. My mother is no dog lover but she made the comment a few weeks ago that if she could find an ornament with a pug on it she would get one considering that Mila blessed us with her presence this year! Well actually, Dad blessed us with Mila’s presence 😂😂😂 My thought was, “Why buy an ornament with a pug when we have our very own?!” I decided to get to work! Look how nice this puppy sits for a treat! Lol I found the perfect ornament solution from @shutterfly! It just came in the mail and I am so excited!
