Jake + Ruthanne | Wedding Day!

 

Happy Tuesday, Friends!  I have a wedding to share with you today and I am SO excited!  Do you all remember Jake + Ruthanne?!  They got married this past Saturday!  If you don’t remember them, take a moment to take a peek at their Engagement Session.  I promise these two will be dancing their way in to your heart in no time!

Jake + Ruthanne had a church wedding and the reception was at the Hayloft at Moon Shine Farm!  This was my first wedding there and I was really looking forward to it!  The ladies got ready at the farm! Ruthanne put a lot of work into this wedding.  There were so many personalized details!  Each of her bridesmaids and the flower girl were gifted beautiful water bottles with their names on then!

I did a little happy dance when I saw that Jake + Ruthanne chose to use their engagement photos on their invitations!  Also, how cute was their save the date?!

Nichole (Nichole Danielle Photography) met the guys at the Edge Hotel where they were all getting ready for the big day!

These earrings belonged to Ruthanne’s grandmother!  So special!

That little guy is the ring bearer!  He is almost 4 and he was SO.MUCH.FUN!  You’ll get to see what I’m talking about if you keep scrolling!

 

He was taking his job as “Ring Security” very seriously!

If there is one thing that I have learned about Jake, it is that he loves to have fun!  This guy is always laughing!

Then men will FOR SURE not care about this at all…but LADIES.  Let me tell you about Ruthanne’s dress!  It’s completely custom!  She went through a company called Anomalie! She got to help with the design and everything!   And if you’re thinking, “That sounds pricey!”  She told me that it was completely reasonable!

I have never EVER included an iPhone photo in a gallery and while I’m not going to make it a habit, there is a first time for everything! LOL  Nichole always has the guys take selfies!  It’s a fun shot!  Dylan, the ring bearer, also got to take one!  HOW CUTE IS HE?!

Jake + Ruthanne have some amazing friends!  Nichole and I had a fun time with their bridal party!

Another highlight of the day,  the SWEET flower girl!  She was shy at first, but she warmed up after a bit!  I’m hoping we’re still friends!

Seriously… how sweet is she?!

      

And now we’re…goooing to the chapel and we’re…..gonnnna get maaaaaried!

Ceremony time!

…..can someone pass the tissues?!!  Jake + Ruthanne wanted to be traditional, so this was the first look!

Dylan ran to give Ruthanne a hug and knocked her right to the ground!

 

The men had matching socks!  When Nikki and I took these photos, we were only a few feet away from each other.  Then guys were laughing loudly,  so the ladies decided to laugh harder!

We went back to the same location that we used for Engagement photos! I’ve never had the chance to do that and it was really fun!

I almost didn’t include this one in the blog post!  But it’s totally Jake! lol  Ruthanne had joked with Jake numerous times that he wasn’t allowed to lick her!

“Just once?!” …. “FINE.” I told them this would be a nice print for the living room!

They danced to “Then” by Brad Paisley!  He even sang to her….my heart was almost in a puddle on the floor!  SO SWEET!

I’m not sure Jake’s mother was expecting that! LOL!

The Maid of Honor and Best Man gave their speeches and then it was time to eat!  The wedding was catered by Miller’s Catering of Watson, NY!  It was soooo good!  They never disappoint!

The cake was done by Tessa’s Cakes of Lowville.  It was DELICIOUS!

Just to be clear, if you want to make your photographer EXTRA happy,  PRINT YOUR PHOTOS!  🙂  We love to see them on social media, but we love it even more when we show up to your wedding and see them all around!  This was the “guest book” and it is going to look wonderful hanging in their home!

This was the Anniversary dance!  All the married couples are invited out on the dance floor and then little by little the DJ (Ryan Misencik) would keep upping the years of marriage and if you weren’t married for that many years you sat back down!

These two were the last couple dancing!

 The sun was getting lower so we went back outside for some glowy photos!

We were all laughing! Jake + Ruthanne are SO.MUCH.FUN!  Can you guys get married again next year?!

And this dress….I don’t know how many time we had Ruthanne play with it!
