Happy June, Friends! Can you believe we’re finally here?!! June 1st marked the beginning of Wedding season for me! It is the start of a fun-filled and exciting summer!
Let’s jump right in to Kyle + Faith’s wedding, shall we?!! This spring has been exceptionally rainy. So naturally I had been checking the weather since June 1st was in the 10 day forecast. I had also been praying that it wouldn’t rain on this day! Guess what….IT DIDN’T! We had a perfect day!
So much work went into this day! There were so many small details! My photographer heart was extra excited!
The dresses were BEAUTIFUL! So simple and elegant. For those who are curious, the florals were from Lisks! They always do such a wonderful job!
Kyle is one of the most friendly guys I know! He is always super talkative and ready for conversation! When I went to see what he and the groomsmen were up to, he was SO quiet! I knew he was nervous! Thankfully, after a few moments with these guys, the nerves seemed to fade a little! At least on the outside!
This was also my first wedding with Kaitlyn Lyndaker of Kaitlyn Wood Photography! (She did amazing by the way!) I told the groomsmen that if they gave her a hard time and made her want to quit, I would have no choice but to hire them and their cell phones. THANKFULLY they were very cooperative throughout the day! They still decided to practice their posing though!
I really loved Faith’s dress! 3 of Faith’s bridesmaids were her sisters, and the 4th is her sister to be! I joked that the only reason Faith is marrying Kyle is because she has always wanted Denika as a sister!
I’m not going to lie, these ladies make sisterhood look like lots of fun!

Instead of the traditional wedding cake, they had PIE!

They did have a cake to cut! They were really nice to each other, which I was SUPER thankful for because we still had many photos to take!
The Best Man, Matt, gifted Faith with items that she will need to survive living with Kyle! We all had a good laugh!
One of my favorite things about this day was the way they looked at each other!
I told the groomsmen to tell Faith what their favorite thing was about Kyle. We got some great smiles when Alex + Matt had the same response, that being Kyle’s backside! When it came time for the girls to share their favorite thing about Faith, we all agreed that we all love everything about Faith! So instead, they were also going to tell us their favorite thing about Kyle! I didn’t give them much time to think, but in the end we decided that the best thing about Kyle is definitely his WIFE!
