Wedding Albums

March 2, 2018

Happy Friday, Friends!

I’m over here enjoying an unexpected SNOW DAY!  Part of me is a little upset that we have taken 3 steps backwards when it comes to Spring Time, but who doesn’t love a day off?!  If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that I recently placed my first order for a Wedding Album!  In early 2017 I decided that I wanted to start looking for an album company that could offer me exactly what I wanted to be able to offer to my clients.  There any many  places to order albums from, but I wanted something with heirloom quality.  Something that the children will all want to keep someday.  I wanted something durable, not something that the pages could be ripped out of or bent.

And guess what?!  I’ve found it!

I’ve gone back and forth.  Is it too much?  Will my clients even be interested in them?  My conclusion is this.  My clients trust me enough to capture one of the most memorable days of their lives.  I want to be able to trust that their photos will be around for years and years.  Technology fails.  Printing your photos in some way is ALWAYS the best idea.

These albums are hand crafted.  After the pages are printed, they are hand – assembled to create the block.

After the block is assembled and cut, it is sent to be joined with the custom cover.  You can choose between Italian Leather or Linen and there are a variety of color options for both!

Luke + Charity chose a Linen cover in Chai.   It looks beautiful with their names engraved in Gold.

These albums have a 10-40 spread range.  They also come in a collection of sizes.  Square albums make it easy to order the same album design in different sizes.  This album is a 10×10.  It could also be ordered in an 8×8 to make a wonderful gift for the parents.

Each album comes with a Linen dust cover to protect it from the elements.

The pages lay flat, making for elegant, full-page spreads.

I’ve ordered a few Engagement albums from this same company, but nothing could prepare me for the excitement of being able to hold an entire wedding in my hands!  I know many are probably wondering how much these albums will cost, and I will admit that it is an investment, but I also promise that when you hold your album in your hands for the very first time (I sound like a new mother, but it’s true!) you will realize that it is worth every penny spent.  I’ve done my homework, and I’ve found to get a cheaper album, quality would have to be sacrificed and I’m not going to offer my clients something that may not stand the test of time.

Thank you all for reading!  I’d love to answer any questions you have!  Past client or future 🙂

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

In creating these albums, I can see how wonderful they could be for all of my clients.  It may be fun to have your family or senior session printed and ready to look at in a moments notice!

If any of my past clients have an interest, don’t hesitate to ask!
