Dustin + Madison | A Wedding at the Maples

October 26, 2022

Dustin + Madison:  One of the sweetest couples you’ll ever meet!  I had told them at the wedding that I was looking forward to their wedding day for a few reasons. 1. It was the last wedding of a very crazy season and 2. they are a really great couple who are fun to be around!

As I sat here putting together their blog post, I couldn’t help but think back over the last year!  This has been the busiest wedding season to date.  The season started on a beautiful January day and there were a few weddings sprinkled throughout the winter, but since the end of April we have been consistently busy with weddings!  If there was a free Saturday, it was most likely filled with portrait sessions!  I am currently overwhelmed in many ways, but as I sit here looking over the very last wedding of the year, I can’t help but be overwhelmed with gratitude!  Never once in one million years did I ever think that this would be my life and that I would spend my weekends with sweet couples and their families.  One of my friends recently said to me, “Wow!  You have really great wedding clients!”  I for one agree!  I think of them all as family and will be forever grateful that they have asked me to have a part in their day!

Dustin + Madison got married on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at the Maples!

They have the sweetest little girl, Quinn.  Her dress was made from the same lace!

Dustin + Madison decided to share a first look and get most of their portraits done ahead of time!

Madison also had a first look with her Father, which was one of the cutest moments!

We squeezed in some family portraits before naptime!

A quick shout out to Kaitlyn for second shooting for me on this day!

Time to get MARRIED!

First their handshake, then a kiss!

Mr. + Mrs. Dustin Snyder!

Back inside for the reception!

Special words from their friends and familiy!

Dinner was delicious!

Madison surprised her mom with a Mother/Daughter dance!

We love a good round of the Shoe Game!

This sweet couple was married the longest!  Over 50 years!

I’ve said it 100 times and I’ll it again.  If you’re a bride who is currently planning your wedding and you’ve asked yourself, “Do we really want to leave our guests for 15 extra minutes and go outside for sunset portraits?”  The answer is YES.  If you need a reason, it is because these are the portraits you’ll hang on the walls of your home and show your grandchildren is 50 years!

Time for cake!

Will they be nice?

Dustin + Madison,

Thank you so much for letting me have a part in your day!  I’m grateful that I have been able to get to know your family over the last year!  Love + Best wishes for this next chapter!

….and a little polaroid portrait to end the year with!  I have so many behind the scenes photos that I’ve considered sharing with you all from each wedding, but honestly we all look like a hot mess 90% of the time so this is as good as it’s going to get!
